  CALLISTHENICS-  There are many forms of bodyweight only exercise, for instance yoga, martial arts or gymnastics. Some focus more on movement, combat or agility and others on mind, body, spirit connection. Calisthenics traditionally is the use of one’s body to achieve strictly strength, the use of exercise progressions and your body to create new and more intense loads which ultimately produce raw power and strength. If you take the humble push up, rather than increasing the repetitions which would build muscle endurance, you would make the exercise progression harder for strength. Put your feet up on a wall for instance or do them while in a handstand. I love all movement and I love all bodyweight exercise. Calisthenics is no longer in this tight box, it has its rules for sure. It’s about the progressions, but in many ways, it has come to represent all the wonderful things you can learn to do with just your body.

Classes are very private, no more than 6 children at a time.

Weather you are a fighter looking to improve your striking or you want to train like a fighter, Muay Thai has something for everybody. Expect to sweat and hit bags and pads. Sparring is optional.
